Durba, Haut-Uele – December 15, 2024 – At COMISEMI (Compagnie Multimodale d’Ingénierie des Services Miniers), our commitment extends beyond excellence in core drilling operations to fostering meaningful and lasting contributions to the communities we serve. Since our founding in 2019, we have proudly operated in Durba, Watsa Territory, Haut-Uele Province, as a trusted partner in mining services, while also addressing vital local needs.

One of our standout initiatives has been providing reliable access to clean water. Every day, our facilities supply over 6,000 liters of potable water, benefiting hundreds of residents and passersby. With more than 300 jerrycans filled daily from our community taps, this initiative ensures access to an essential resource that significantly improves the quality of life in the area.

Our commitment to community support also includes strengthening local infrastructure and public services. In a recent demonstration of this commitment, COMISEMI donated two brand-new motorcycles to the Congolese National Police to enhance mobility and security efforts for the local population.

Led by Dominique Atafo, a passionate entrepreneur and native of the region, COMISEMI has become a cornerstone of local economic development. Our operations have created over 60 direct jobs, contributing to livelihoods and driving economic growth within the community.

Looking to the future, we envision expanding our contributions to national development through strategic partnerships with government and private stakeholders.
